Vietnam and Cambodia

For some older Americans, Vietnam still conjures up horrific images that shocked our nation into a reality that was reported on the evening news during the 60s and early 70s. Before arriving in Vietnam, I expected to find people that were psychologically scarred and resentful toward Americans, but instead, I found just the opposite.

The images in this gallery include scenes from Saigon (at night); Hue (the old capital); Thien Duong (Paradise Cave), located in Central Vietnam – near the Laos border; and Hanoi – in the North. I also included images from my brief visit to Angkor Wat, which is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
