I took these photos in Vietnam and Cambodia in December 2017. For many older Americans, the mere mention of Vietnam still conjures up horrific images that shocked our nation into a reality beyond what was reported on the evening news during the 60’s and early 70’s. Before arriving in Vietnam, I expected to find a people psychically scarred by personal loss and resentful (towards Americans) about the war, but instead I found just the opposite. The photos in this gallery include scenes from Saigon, Hue (old capital of Vietnam), Hanoi, and Siem Reap, Cambodia. I am still adding images to this gallery.
